HANDLE INVESTMENT
A project company that owns what it builds.
We are the project management and investment authority behind a Nairobi-based group of companies. We do not advise from the sidelines: we originate every venture, structure its architecture, secure its capital — and then own, manage and operate the company built to deliver it.
Four disciplines. One Group.
Every discipline a serious venture demands, held under one roof and one standard of accountability — so no operating company is left to assemble these capabilities on its own.
Project Management
We plan, deliver and govern projects from first feasibility through to full operation. Nothing is handed off half-finished.
Structuring
We architect the legal, financial and corporate framework every venture stands on, built to bear real capital and real scrutiny.
Funding
We source, arrange and deploy the capital our projects and companies require, and we stay accountable for how it performs.
Business Development
We open new markets, sectors and partnerships across East Africa and beyond, on terms built to serve the Group for the long run.
Sectors across the Group.
Six sectors, one governance standard, applied without exception.
Petroleum & Energy
Fuel imports, oil marketing and regional petroleum trade.
Agricultural Commodities
Sugar, fertiliser, cereals and agro-commodity supply.
Metals & Industrial Minerals
Gold, copper, limestone, graphite and phosphate trading.
Financial Services
Securities trading, investment advisory and e-trading platforms.
Advanced Manufacturing & R&D
Product development and production at the Umoja workshop.
Real Estate & Infrastructure
Project finance and development of physical assets.
One mandate. Three companies. One workshop.
TOPAZ Network, Topaz Petroleum and E-Trade & Investments carry the Group’s operations forward; the Umoja workshop carries its research and manufacturing. Every one of them is owned, managed, operated and licensed under our single mandate — nothing in the Group sits outside it.
TOPAZ Network
Commodities, minerals, project finance & real estate.
Topaz Petroleum
Petroleum marketing & trading across Eastern Africa.
E-Trade & Investments
Securities trading, advisory & trading platforms.
Umoja AIT
The Group’s in-house R&D and manufacturing facility.
One Group. One Mandate.
Many Ventures.
We originate, structure, fund and manage — so every company in the Group can execute without compromise.
A project company that owns what it builds.
We are a Nairobi-based project management and investment company. We originate, structure, fund and manage projects — and we own, manage and operate the companies that deliver them.
We do not act as a passive holding company. We sit at the centre of every venture in the Group: setting strategy, controlling capital, holding licences and providing the management discipline that lets each operating company focus on execution.
From petroleum and commodity trade to financial services and advanced manufacturing, the Group brings complementary capabilities together under one mandate and one standard of governance.
Our mandate: four disciplines, one Group.
Every venture we carry answers to the same four disciplines. No operating company is left to assemble them alone.
Project Management
Planning, delivering and overseeing projects end to end, from origination to operation.
Structuring
Designing the legal, financial and corporate architecture behind every venture.
Funding
Sourcing, arranging and deploying capital for projects and for the Group’s companies.
Business Development
Opening new markets, sectors and partnerships across East Africa and beyond.
Own. Manage. Operate. License.
Every company and facility in the Group runs through us. Control here is not a formality — we exercise it, deliberately, at four distinct levels.
Own
We hold the Group’s operating companies, our manufacturing workshop and their assets.
Manage
Sets strategy, appoints leadership and governs the performance of every business in the Group.
Operate
Runs shared finance, procurement, human resources, audit and technology functions across the Group.
License
Holds and extends the licences, permits and intellectual property under which Group activities are carried out.
The principles behind every project.
Integrity
Transparent structures, sound governance and fiduciary care in every transaction.
Discipline
Rigorous project management, financial controls and independent audit.
Partnership
Long-term relationships with governments, financiers and industry partners.
Impact
Projects that create jobs, capability and lasting value in the communities we serve.
One Group.
One Mandate.
Many Ventures.
We originate, structure, fund and manage — so every company in the Group can deliver.
How the Group is organised.
One parent company holding the mandate. Three operating companies executing it. One workshop building what the rest cannot buy off the shelf.
TOPAZ Network Limited
Commodities, minerals, project finance & real estate
Topaz Petroleum Limited
Petroleum marketing & trading across Eastern Africa
E-Trade & Investments Limited

Umoja AIT Workshop
The Group’s in-house R&D and manufacturing facility
All three companies and the Umoja workshop are owned, managed, operated and licensed through us. Umoja is a facility of our Group, not a separate company.
Sectors across the Group.
Six sectors. No divided attention — every one of them answers to the same governance standard.
Petroleum & Energy
Fuel imports, oil marketing and regional petroleum trade.
Agricultural Commodities
Sugar, fertiliser, cereals and agro-commodity supply.
Metals & Industrial Minerals
Gold, copper, limestone, graphite and phosphate trading.
Financial Services
Securities trading, investment advisory and e-trading platforms.
Advanced Manufacturing & R&D
Product development and production at the Umoja workshop.
Real Estate & Infrastructure
Project finance and development of physical assets.
Four ventures. One standard of governance.
Each company below stands on its own record. None of them stand outside the Group’s mandate.
TOPAZ Network Limited
Trade, minerals and investment across East Africa
TOPAZ Network Limited is the Group’s East African trading and investment company, built to move at the scale essential commodities demand. It trades sugar, fertiliser and cereals alongside metals and industrial minerals — gold, copper, limestone, graphite and phosphate — and a full range of petroleum products.
Beyond trade, TOPAZ Network carries the Group’s project financing and real estate development activity, giving us a regional platform for putting capital to work in physical assets and supply chains, not just balance sheets.
Its reach across five commodity classes lets us respond to opportunity wherever it appears in the region — without waiting on a single market or a single counterparty to move first.
Topaz Petroleum Limited
Independent oil marketing and trading since 2008
Topaz Petroleum Limited has operated as an independent oil marketing and trading company since 2008, with activities spanning five countries across Eastern Africa — a track record measured in decades, not quarters.
Licensed to participate in Kenya’s Open Tender System for petroleum imports, it gives the Group direct, unmediated access to regional fuel supply, logistics and trading partnerships, and anchors our trade and commodities pillar.
That licence is not a formality we hold on paper — it is the mechanism through which we import, and it is renewed on the strength of a compliance record we have kept clean since 2008.
E-Trade & Investments Limited
Financial services and electronic trading
E-Trade & Investments Limited is the Group’s financial services company. Established in 2013, it provides securities trading, investment advisory and electronic trading platforms, together with IT consultancy for the investment banking sector.
It also carries agro-commodity supply, pairing the Group’s financial expertise with real-economy trade, and brings genuine capital-markets depth to our structuring and funding work — not outsourced, but built in-house.
That in-house depth means the funding decisions behind every project in the Group are made by people who understand capital markets first-hand, not by intermediaries several steps removed from the risk.
Umoja Advanced Industrial Technologies
The Group’s in-house R&D and manufacturing workshop
Umoja Advanced Industrial Technologies — Umoja AIT — is our in-house research, development and manufacturing workshop: the technical and production engine behind the Group’s wider ambitions.
Everything at Umoja is owned, managed, operated and licensed through us. It is a facility of our Group, not a separate company — the engineering counterpart to the trade, petroleum and financial-services work carried out by TOPAZ Network, Topaz Petroleum and E-Trade & Investments.
Because proprietary processes and active research run on the floor day to day, access to the workshop is limited to our senior leadership and the facility’s own team. This is a working precaution around live R&D, not a closed door — colleagues from elsewhere in the Group and outside visitors are welcomed everywhere else, and can always reach the Umoja team through the Group’s usual channels.
Meet the people behind the Group.
Nine names, one line of accountability.
Authority here is assigned, not assumed. An Executive Committee sets direction and controls capital; a Management Team runs finance, people, technology, health and internal audit across every company in the Group. Both answer to the same standard of governance and work from the same Nairobi offices and the Umoja workshop — and each is named individually below, because responsibility that cannot be traced to a person is not responsibility at all.
